Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is an optimized blend of PCR enzymes that is a proven balance of high yield and high fidelity (with 3X higher fidelity than regular Taq) for cDNA amplification and library construction. With an automatic hot-start feature, our Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix can readily amplify a wide range of DNA templates, including long templates up to 18 kb, and complex genomic DNA up to 6 kb. The Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix includes two optimized buffers. dNTPs need to be purchased separately.

Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is perfect for PCR applications requiring accuracy, such as RACE PCR, cDNA amplification, library construction, and PCR subtraction. Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is highly recommended for applications downstream of our SMART(er) method for cDNA synthesis.

Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is also available in a complete PCR kit that includes dNTPs and PCR controls, or in a ready-to-use, lyophilized format (High Fidelity PCR EcoDry Premix).

639202 Advantage® 2 Polymerase Mix 5 x 100 Rxns Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is a hot-start PCR polymerase mix that contains Takara’s Titanium Taq DNA Polymerase (with TaqStart Antibody), and a minor amount of a proofreading polymerase for a balance of higher yield and higher fidelity than wild-type Taq. The Mix is ideal for amplification of long templates up to 18 kb and complex genomic DNA up to 6 kb. Two different optimized buffers are supplied with the polymerase mix. dNTPs need to be purchased separately. Enough enzyme mix and PCR buffer are supplied for 500 PCR reactions of 50 μl each.
639201 Advantage® 2 Polymerase Mix 100 Rxns Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix is a hot-start PCR polymerase mix that contains Takara’s Titanium Taq DNA Polymerase (with TaqStart Antibody), and a minor amount of a proofreading polymerase for a balance of higher yield and higher fidelity than wild-type Taq. The Mix is ideal for amplification of long templates up to 18 kb and complex genomic DNA up to 6 kb. Two different optimized buffers are supplied with the polymerase mix. dNTPs need to be purchased separately. Enough enzyme mix and PCR buffer are supplied for 100 PCR reactions of 50 μl each.
639282 High Fidelity PCR EcoDry™ Premix 24 Rxns A lyophilized PCR master mix based on Takara’s hot-start Advantage 2 Polymerase Mix. The premix contains all neceeary reagents for a high-yield and high-fidelity PCR. Please refer to User Manual for the composition. EcoDry Premix are packaged as individual 8-well tube strips with optically clear sealing caps. Simply reconstitute the mix by adding PCR-grade water along with primers and template.
